The Fargo Air Museum, located at 1609 19th Ave. N., on the south side of the airport, opened in July 2001. Attractions in the 150-foot-by-150-foot facility include a 33-ton Minuteman II missile, a red 1943 Beech Staggerwing lent to the museum by Arnie Widmer, a restorer and collector from Oakes, N.D., a North Dakota National Guard DC-3, and many other military and civilian airplanes.
