In the photograph to the left, our balloonist is now high enough so that the photographer no longer even shows the ground. In the enlargement to the right, I can only guess that the fearless flyer is hanging on for dear life ! I hope that is a parachute between him and the balloon.

Unfortunately I do not know how the story ends. If anyone knows when this happened, I could look up the details in the Fargo Forum, which certainly reported this event; perhaps the first balloonist in North Dakota !
