This photograph of Stephens & Sears Livery was likely taken in the early 1880's. The photograph's mat is marked Fargo, Dakota Territory so it was certainly taken before 1889. The livery was located on the 600 block of N.P. Avenue. According to the 1883 Fargo City Directory, it was owned by A.L. Stephens and E.L. Sears.
