This 1909 postcard (which has been enlarged and cropped) looks east on NP Avenue from above Broadway. It appears to have been taken from atop the Edwards Building (perilously close to the electric pole and wires). On the north side of NP Avenue (moving left to right) we see the edge of the Merchants National Bank, an unknown building, the Metropole Hotel, an unknown building, and the Webster Hotel on the corner of 5th Street. On the east corner is Porritt's Plumbing and Heating Co. (with the awnings). Although we can see several blocks further down NP Avenue, I do not know the building occupants.
