In the 1914 postcard to the right, the artist has thoughtfully removed Moody's and added automobiles and people.

The hotel advertised, in 1918, 55 rooms for $1 and 25 rooms with a bath for$1.50. J.A. Harding was the proprietor. The hotel letterhead, below right, is from 1915. The hotel also advertised the "finest cafe in [the] city." I believe that the business card below was from that cafe.

The Annex became the Fort Hotel sometime in the period 1925-1937.

The Hotel Annex was located on Front Street [Main Avenue] at the head of Broadway, next to Moody's, as can be seen in the photograph to the right of a parade marching north on Broadway. The Annex was formerly Halbert's European Hotel.
