The real photograph postcard on the upper right shows Front Street looking east from Broadway. Here Moody's anchors the block on the west. Next to Moody's is Halbert's European Hotel. C.E. Halbert was the proprietor and advertised "good steam heated rooms." The hotel also offered meal tickets at 21 meals for $3.50.

The postcard below right shows much the same scene from a slightly different angle and it has been colorized by the printer.
