This photograph of Front Street (taken 1879-1889) faces southeast from the Headquarters Hotel overlooking at Front Street [Main Avenue] south of Broadway. This F.J. Haynes photograph is from the State Historical Society of North Dakota Museum Collection A5804.

The only buildings with legible signs are the Fargo House (at 322 Front Street) and E.S. Tyler & Co. This photograph also shows the buildings along the south side of the NP tracks east of Broadway. I can't discern their names, unfortunately.
