In the cattle barn, hundreds of classes of cattle were exhibited, including shorthorns, Herefords, Aberdeen-Angus, Galloways, Jerseys, and sheep. First prize (in 1909) was $15.00 for a top bull.
In the swinery, such breeds as Yorkshires, Berkshires, Poland Chinas, Duroc Jerseys, Chester Whites, and Tamworths were on display. First prize (in 1909) was $6.00 for a top boar.
