Fair Carnival (cont'd)

In addition to the animal judging, the home related exhibits, the car, horse, and dog races, and the grandstand shows, the Fair always had a carnival or its equivalent. For example, in 1926, the Morris and Castle Carnival entertained fairgoers. Besides the rides, food, and other attractions, the carnivals usually included a "girlie show" or two. Below are two photographs of such shows in 1940.

If anyone has pictures of the other parts of the carnivals, e.g., the rides, please let me know.
