Knerr Dairy
The Knerr Dairy store was located at 11 South Eighth Street. The building was built, owned, and operated by Frank O. Knerr. Note the "F.O. Knerr" on the top front of the building. It was just south of the Dakota Business College. On the back of the postcard above left is written "We are paying 24 cents per lb for butterfat."
I believe that Knerr Dairy was bought out by Cass Clay Creamery. The building later became the Dutch Maid Cafe, which in turn became the "50's Cafe" but that also closed. The building is now home to Nicole's Fine Pastry operated by Nichole Secker.
