The R & G Bootery was a shoe store at 302 Broadway. The postcard image to the right shows the interior with walls of shoe boxes. The postcard advertised the store as the 'finest shoe store in the northwest."

I don't know when the store was established or when it went out of business. It was listed in the telephone book as early as 1923 at 302 Broadway. An earlier reference lists it at 67 Broadway. A picture of R&B Bootery at its 302 location can be seen here.

There is an R&G Shoes store in the West Acres Shopping Mall. I assume that it is the successor to the Broadway store.
