Le Chateau Cafe stood on the west side of Broadway next to the NP tracks. It can be seen in the lower right of the postcard to the right. The postcard is from the late 1930's or early 1940's. The cafe offered hand dipped chocolates and confections in the front of the store and a cafe in the rear.
In the photograph below, we can see the interior of the cafe. On the left is Nick Ginakes. The woman to the left rear is Ida Jacobson. The cafe was owned by Nick Ginakes or his brother Constance. They had another brother Andy. The brothers owned a smoke shop in town and Nick also ran the Hasty Tasty Cafe.

The cafe tray shown right has a small raised dot in the center so the tray spins around.
The photographs of the interior and tray were kindly provided by Brad Graber. Thank you !
