The most frequently photographed part of Fargo is Broadway. Images on postcards appear from the earliest times depicting Broadway looking north, looking south, Broadway from above, and Broadway from the pedestrian point of view. This page provides links to all of those views and to the businesses on Broadway. The businesses are organized by location. The list is very far from complete but I will work at it. At resent the list consists of main or long-standing businesses.

• Broadway Businesses from Front Street (Main Avenue) to NP Avenue
  • The Indian Statue. It stood in the center of Broadway for 30-40 years but I don't know who it depicted or why it was removed.
  • The Sodbuster. The statue sat at the corner of Main Avenue and Broadway from 1982 to 2002.

  • 2 — Shotwell Florists. Later this address was transferred to F. W. Woolworth which was on the north side of the NP tracks.
