
The bank was rebuilt (after the fire of 1893) in the same location on the east side of Broadway between NP Avenue and the NP railroad tracks. The photograph to the right is from 1906.
The postcard below shows a more panoramic view with the Red River Valley National Bank on the far right.
The bank became part of the First National Bank in 1906. The building to shown ledt wsa demolished in 1926 to build a new building for the First National Bank.

The Red River Valley National Bank was founded in 1881. The president of the bank was J.W. VonNedia; R.S. Lewis was Vice-president. Other staff in the bank included James E. Hyde (cashier)and Fred A. Irish (assistant cashier). The bank's directors included J.A. Montgomery (clerk of the United States District Court), W.B. Hancock (architect), J.H. Lewis (superintendent of public instruction in Minnesota), and E. A. Perry (grocer and businessman).
The bank was on the east side of Broadway between NP Avenue and the NP railroad tracks. It ispictured to the right in an etching from an 1883 Fargo souvenir book. The same book shows Broadway in 1883 and the RRVNB can be seen north of the railroad tracks of the far right center in the image below.
